President Hakainde Hichilema has terminated the appointment of Zambia Public Procurement Authority (ZPPA) Director General Idah Chella with immediate effect.
In a statement by State House Chief Communications specialist Clayson Hamasaka stated that President Hichilema has thanked Chella for the service rendered to the people of Zambia, the government and wished her well.
“President Hakainde Hichilema has persuant to Article 270 of the Constitution of the Republic of Zambia terminated the appointment of Mrs Idah Chileshe Chella as Director General of the ZPPA with immediate effect,” read the statement in part. “The President has thanked Mrs Chella for the service rendered to the people of Zambia, the government of the Republic of Zambia and and wishes her well in her future endeavors.”
