Former PF secretary general Davies Mwila has pledged to feed the 3800 delegates expected to attend the general conference with two eggs each for breakfast during the duration of the general conference, which has been deferred to an unknown date.
Well placed sources who recently attended the PF central committee meeting have told Daily Revelation that Mwila also pledged to provide six cows for the holding of the same event, and that Mandevu member of parliament Christopher Shakafuswa on his part promised two cows.
The sources further said that the central committee tasked the 70 members of the highest body to start making a monthly contributions of K500 each, in addition to the K4500 monthly contributions the party gets from the 60 members of parliament.
Sources further said that members of parliament and members of the central committee who served as ministers and other senior portfolios during the PF administration will be required to pay K10,000 each, and that members of parliament who were not ministers or members of parliament will have to pay amounts ranging from K2000 – K5000 and that those who served in the diplomatic service will pay K500 each.
“The party gave most of these people a life and they built huge houses, now it’s time for them to repay back the party in some kind,” said one very senior official in PF.
