CHARITY SAYS ANTHONY HAS A POINT DESPITE CALLING HIM ”FOOLISH” … after the PF MP said he can’t accept party’s route of death

Kantanshi member of parliament (PF) Anthony Mumba says he is ready to be expelled from the PF as he will not accept the party taking the route of death with the Given Lubinda led leadership.

And former elected chairlady in the dissolved Lusaka provincial committee Charity Banda said Mumba had a point in some of his observations despite calling him “foolish.”

And Mumba has questioned what is criminal about buying the portrait bearing the image of First Lady Mutinta, that the party should even [pp-logged-users] discipline him for.

In voice notes shared with Daily Revelation, Mumba said he understood that there were people who were against him in PF, whom he said have not appreciated his position in as far as what he has said about the rebranding of PF and they were looking for an opportunity that can justify an expulsion.

“And I can tell you I am ready for such a decision. The reason why I am ready is because I know that they know that I would never accept the PF taking the route its taking into death,” Mumba said, and that PF was the largest opposition party but the same people who were running the party when it lost the elections were the same people running affairs even now. “Same people. How do you expect the party to grow? So they don’t surprise me. Even the letter that has come from the secretariat for me to exculpate myself over a purchase of a portrait, the fact that I am standing posing with a portrait it means it’s me who has bought? I mean what sort of thinking is that? And in any case what’s the criminal act about buying a portrait? What is so indiscipline about that?”

He described all that as pettiness, but that it would not go anywhere.

“And God who gave me this poston since 2016 is there, He is my witness. Ine I am a politician. If I am going to deliver for the people of Kantanshi ilya Mukambo road twafililwe where I am even in court rights now,” said Mumba.

And Banda said she agreed somehow with Mumba despite saying he was “foolish.”

“This guy has a point but futi alitumpa,” said Banda, wondering why he was not fighting for PF causes. “Anthony Mumba alikwatapo naka pride akatumpa. Ka pride akamungulu.”
