Former Foreign Affairs permanent secretary George Zulu said there is a concerted effort from homosexual activists to normalise their vile practices in Zambia, warning that if not stopped children will grow up thinking homosexuality is normal, including sleeping with dogs.
Speaking with Daily Revelation, Amb Zulu said Zambia was a country of laws, and that the laws of this country forbid homosexual practices.
“We must enforce the law for all those practicing this unnatural way of relationships. If we don’t, because people are talking about it as a human right, I think it’s destroying the fabric of society. These (homosexuals) are sick human beings. They need to be handled by a psychiatrists who will help them to re-orient to normalcy,” Amb Zulu said. “Next they will tell us that sleeping with a dog and beds is normal, because we are allowing people to do what is not right. If we allow a free hand, because they say an abnormality is what the minority do, if they become a majority, our children will grow up thinking it’s normal.”
Amb Zulu urged that Zambians must not allow themselves to get to a point where they begin to look at homosexuality as normal, saying he was on record as having rebuked ambassadors from some western nations who went to offer solidarity to homosexuals who were appearing before the courts of law in Kapiri Mposhi, something he said then vice-president Dr Guy Scott attacked him for doing.
“Let those practicing it get rounded up and face the law because they are breaking the law,” said Amb Zulu.
