Ka Chanoda kalebosa kwati kabwa, Mundubile must distance himself from him, says former elected PF Lusaka provincial chairlady in the dissolved committee Charity Banda.
Reacting to PF’s Chanoda Ngwira’s statement that the former ruling party should forego the convention by just agreeing among themselves to install leader of the opposition in parliament Brian Mundubile as leader of the PF, Banda likened Ngwira to an outsider who had arrived at the funeral but wanted to inherit everything the deceased person owned, saying Mundubile must distance himself from the matters Chanoda is advocating on his behalf.
She said PF was not a Katemba party where somebody can just wake up and do as they pleased by sitting around a table and choosing a leader, but that leaders in the party were chosen through general conferences.
“His my kid brother but very useless. He wants to talk from the belly. He and the UPND cadres are from the same structure of praise singers. This time around we need a person who can help us bounce back to power,” Banda said to Daily Revelation, adding that the PF should learn lessons and not start engaging in confusion among themselves in the party. “I know Chanoda, he talks from his belly.Those are the same people who made us lose because they came to chew.”
Banda suggested that to remove suspicions that Ngwira was not being sent, Mundubile must distance himself from him.
“Ubu bupuba. Imwe mwaishile pa chililo ba Chanoda, nomba mulefwaya nokupyana umuntu uwafwa (You came very late to PF Chanoda, but now you even want to inherit what you never worked for),” said Banda. “Ukwambafye ukulabosa kwati kabwa (He’s just barking like a little dog).”
