ACC ARRESTS LUSAMBO FOR CORRUPT PRACTICES … warns and cautions Amos Chanda

The Anti-Corruption Commission has arrested and charged former Lusaka Province minister Bowman Lusambo for corrupt practices of being in possession of four properties suspected to be proceeds of crime and concealing two others.

The Commission yesterday warned and cautioned Lusambo for being in possession of property suspected to be proceeds of crime.

Addressing the press this evening, ACC spokesperson Queen Chibwe said Lusambo has been arrested and charged with four counts of being in possession of property reasonably suspected to be proceeds of crime and two counts of concealing two properties reasonably suspected to be proceeds of crime in Lusaka and Copperbelt provinces.

She said the offences were believed to have been committed between May 01, 2015 and December 01, 2021.

She said the properties concealed in Lusaka and Copperbelt were disguised under the names Mbachi Nkwazi and Gatbro International Limited, being property numbers Masai-LN-10328-218 and NDO-LN-10048-44-191 respectively.

She said Lusambo had been released on bond and will appear in court soon.

And former special assistant to for press and public relations to former president Edgar Lungu, Amos Chanda has been warned and cautioned for being in possession of 15 properties reasonably suspected to be proceeds of crime.
