In a statement, CRAZ chairman Aaron Kamuti stated that institutions such as the Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA), Road Development Agency (RDA) and Police Traffic department needed to be proactive and not reactive.
Kamuti stated that these entities should be seen to be working.

He stated that the association was very concerned by this altitude.
“We need these institutions to be proactive not reactive as the situation now, we have lost breadwinners in the past four days it’s unacceptable. We hope the ministry responsible for these institutions should take interest and make drastic measures,” stated Kamuti. “The association is always there to work with all stakeholders to safe guard the interest of commuters and advocate for better road infrastructure and also make sure that all road infrastructure is protected from vandalism and criminality for the betterment of mother Zambia.”
