Former Central Province minister Sydney Mushanga has prodded Zambians not to believe any deceptive message by the opposition parties stating that the PF led administration will always remain focused to serving diligently and to uplifting livelihoods of citizens.
Mushanga claimed that the PF government has channelled all its energies towards enhancing the welfare of citizens both socially and economically.
He said the PF is committed to aligning itself to the church for developmental partnerships.
Mushanga observed that President Edgar Lungu’s team will continue rolling out social protection economic programs in various vulnerable communities.
Speaking during an induction reception service at Kapiri Mposhi UCZ Central Church new minister in charge Rev Steven Nyirenda, Mushanga charged that the opposition were only experts at criticizing trivial matters instead of competing on ideologies.
And Mushanga who is also ruling PF Bwacha parliamentary candidate accused the opposition for wanting to make an issue out of President Edgar Lungu’s declaration of 28th April a KK public holiday.
“There is nothing amiss for the country to honour the late founding father as surely he deserves it,” he said.
He also counselled Christians to spearhead peace ahead of the general elections.
At the same event UCZ Central presbytery Bishop reverend Laston Chisanga call for peace and tranquillity ahead of August 12 elections.
