Socialist party leader Dr Fred M’membe has described his police summoning as high grade stupidity and desperation.
Speaking when he arrived at Ibex Hill Police station where he has been summoned for questioning, Dr M’membe said he did not know why he had been summoned.
Dr M’membe said his summoning could be described as high grade desperation.
“I don’t know why I’m here. I can only say high grade foolishness, high grade stupidity, high grade desperation,” he said.
Dr M’membe has been accompanied by his lawyers and party officials.
He has since been arrested and charged with seditious practices.
