Faith Musonda will continue to be interrogated by the police over the K65 million and US$57,000 that was recovered from her New Kasama House in Lusaka.
Police sources have told Daily Revelation that a warn and caution has not been issued against Musonda as the interrogations are still continuing, after she was grilled for over 8 hours yesterday at Central Police in Lusaka.
“Before you record and warn and caution you interview a person. So arising out what you are going to get from the interview, then you can record a caution statement. So what happened yesterday it was a very long interview because the matter is slightly complicated. Yah a warn and cation statement is yet to be recorded. The interrogation continues,” said police sources familiar with the matter, and that the next date for interrogations will be communicated to the public.
Police spokesperson Esther Mwaata Katongo when contacted later said: “For now we opt to remain quite, however state that investigations have continued in the matter, we will get back to the public through the media once investigations are concluded.”
