“The Festival Unraveling the Mysteries of the Book of Revelation Concludes in Jeonju”

From the end of last month to the 13th, a festival that revealed the complexities of the Book of Revelation culminated in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province.

Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Witness (led by Chairman Lee Man-hee, hereafter referred to as Shincheonji), held the “Shincheonji Jeonju Evangelistic Great Assembly” on the 13th, attended by over 250 pastors and a total of more than 16,000 participants. The main hall, annex, and outdoor parking area of the Shincheonji Jeonju Church were all filled with attendees. However, due to limitations on venue capacity and safety considerations, it was not possible to invite everyone who wished to attend.

As a result, the number of pastors listening online exceeded 200, and the total number of online viewers reached 117,000. The area around the Shincheonji Jeonju Church was bustling with crowds four hours before the event began. Two hours prior to the event, attendees filled not only the building but also the seats set up in the outdoor parking lot.

In order to welcome the early attendees, the members of Shincheonji Church lined up along a distance of over 1 kilometer from the “Honam Jeilmun” near Jeonju IC to the event venue, showcasing various performances. A military band and a traditional folk music group in traditional attire paraded through the streets, transforming the evangelistic assembly into a festive occasion.

Notably, more than 250 pastors from other denominations attended the event in person, adding significance to the gathering. Chairman Lee Man-hee, who served as the speaker, opened his lecture by inviting the pastors to raise their hands and ask questions if they found any mistakes in his teachings.

Chairman Lee explained that just as Jesus fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies during His first coming, the events of the Book of Revelation are being realized today. He emphasized the importance of each individual confirming their identity in the scripture and how they have been recreated according to it.

He reiterated that the contents of the Book of Revelation should not be arbitrarily added to or omitted, urging attendees to verify and learn from those who clearly testify to its teachings.

After the lecture, two pastors from other denominations presented a bouquet to Chairman Lee, expressing their gratitude: “Thank you for helping us understand the Book of Revelation. We will learn this message well and share it.

A pastor from the Jeonbuk region who attended the evangelistic assembly commented, “It was impressive to see how strongly they emphasized that the Book of Revelation is a promise from Jesus and should not be altered carelessly. I think it would be good to open one’s heart and seriously learn these teachings.”

A missionary from a nearby area shared, “Since the January Assembly in Ulsan, I have watched the YouTube lectures. They were shockingly refreshing, like a much-needed rain. It feels like I’ve found a new guide for my missionary work.”

Members of the Shincheonji Church from the Thomas tribe actively communicated the purpose of the evangelistic assembly and engaged with the citizens, who showed great interest by taking photos of the street parade.

Earlier this month, the Thomas tribe also organized a walking event to promote the evangelistic assembly in places like Jeonju Pungnam Market and Jeonju Hanok Village, focusing on spreading the reality of the teachings from the Book of Revelation.

A representative from the Shincheonji Church expressed gratitude, saying, “We thank all the attendees who supported and joined us over these 20 days. We will prepare to create even better opportunities to meet again.” They added, “Moving forward, Shincheonji Church will continue to practice faith according to the Bible and devote ourselves to sharing the teachings of the Book of Revelation that have been realized in our time.
