Fresh from serving a jail sentence, Innocent Kalimanshi has unleashed on former president Edgar Lungu and threatened to spill the beans, forcing Chishimba Kambwili to respond after he came under stick in the PF as the one who was behind Kalimanshi’s insults.
And another prominent PF cadre named Soko, who also served a jail term, unloaded on Lungu in PF blogs saying “taufwile waba father of the nation uli chauyo” and that he was disappointed the UPND is going after innocent people instead of “ukuchinyonga immunity ichi chi mudala”, urging MPs not to fear doing so “pantu alimusha mubunga.”
Soko also said he used to eat nshima together with Lungu in Jack compound, and at one point Lungu while eating nshima together “nakakashi kobe kalya” said “bana banga sinizakami ibalani”, adding that UPND should be ruling Zambia but Lungu “wauyo.”
In voice notes sent to Daily Revelation, Kalimanshi straight from serving a jail term unloaded on former president Edgar Lungu, accusing him of having been behind his arrest, warning that “tukolula beans iyingi sana (to reveal dirty secrets)”
He warned Lungu to stop interfering in the party by wanting to sell it to the former MMD members.
“Tuka ulula beans iyingi sana (We shall reveal dirty secrets). Wayamba ukwangalila kuchipani. Ngawalifola kuyafye. Walisenda kaili. Wawinina pabana babanobe, nokwamba ukubakakisha kaili…ubule abana babanobe wambe ukubakakisha. Ni jealousy nshi? Ah bakalamba (Stop playing with the party. If you have gotten paid please just go and rest. You have gotten rich off other people’s children’s heads and you start mailing them. What kind of jealousy is this. Ah! Old man),” Kalimanshi said. “You want to start playing with the party we have suffered for. Ba Sata bakushila twasonta ati iyo ni uyu because we loved Sata. In the end you start having us arrested. And you want to hold on to the party in the end, you start bringing your own people, what Rupiah Banda left you with that get your own people, not Sata’s people and you now want to start controlling us,”
Kalimanshi said “walintwala sana sana ku jele bamudala bashi Tasila imwe (you have taken me to jail many times you Tasila’s father).”
Kalimanshi said Lungu should just stay where he is, and leave the party alone, saying if he wanted the country to accord him respect he must just stay quiet.
“Mwalilila chalipwa. Efyo mwalafwaya fimbi finshi (You have already eaten, what else do you want)?” asked Kalimanshi.
He said Chishimba Kambwili should be PF president with Miles Sampa as his vice, as they were the true owners of the party.
Kalimanshi charged that cabinet actually sat to deliberate on having him arrested for simply trying to say the truth, saying he was with God, claiming the move was aimed at his life, and that whatever may happen against him he knew already those who were against him.
“Uku nkoselela. Nde sapota kanshi nde sapota ichakundya (I thought I was supporting someone, meanwhile I was supporting something that will eat me)?” Kalimanshi said, claiming that he had information that commands were issued to the commissioner for DEC “nomwana wenu” to have him arrested.
He said Lungu should tell the people what it was he had eaten from him as he simply supported him after Sata left him on the presidency, accusing Lungu of concealing his bad heartedness through his humble posture, but that that would take the former president nowhere.
But following the voice notes, Kambwili came under stick from PF members, accusing him of having been the one behind Kalimanshi’s attacks on Lungu, especially that they were recently seen together.
Under pressure, Kambwili was forced to call Kalimanshi and recorded the same telephone conversation where he reprimanded Kalimanshi and also posted the same conversation in the blogs.
He told Kalimanshi that he was disappointed, saying when the former convict visited him at his home following his release from prison, he never discussed anything about Lungu with him and whatever differences he (Kalimanshi) had with him (Lungu)
“I hear you have insulted Lungu using my name and people think just because you came to my self I am behind those insults…Look Kalimanshi ine nalikula umutwe and nshilefwaya ukukula umutwe,” Kambwili said.
He said he told Kalimanshi that if in the past his work culture involved insults, and quarrels, he did not want to be party to that as PF lost because of hooliganism, insults and pomposity plus plus.
“So if you want to work with me be what I have known you to be that your are not unruly. But if it involves unruliness, pomposity and insults I don’t want to be party to that,” Kambwili said, but Kalimanshi said there were no insults in his voice notes.
Kambwili said he had received calls from people thinking he was behind the same.
He urged Kalimanshi to seek audience with Lungu if they had differed as Lungu was president of this country and must be respected as a statesman.
Kambwili pleaded with Kalimanshi to stop insulting Lungu and the other leaders, saying what PF needed was unity of purpose.
And Kalimanshi pledged not to post further promising that heed Kambwili’s plea.
And another prominent cadre known as Soko cadre unleashed on Lungu in the WhatsApp blogs.
“Ukuyasenda insoka…kutiwabaluka bayama aba. Awe chibi umutima chi tata ichi (You can vomit this man. This man is very bad hearted) We are sleeping angry taufwile waba father of the nation uli chauyo. Get out. You caused Kalimanshi’s arrest. I can’t go and beg from Garry Nkombo, Cornelius Mweetwa and other ministers because they don’t know me. And they were supposed to have known us by now had it not been for you. Nomba ukwisaishibafye chi father ichauyo (We just got to know only this useless father of the nation),” Soko said. “And you have even forgotten the people of Jack compound. Remember what you used to tell us when we were eating nshima together nakakashi Kobe kalya (with your wife) “bana banga sinizakami ibalani (my children I will never forget you). You even forgot Chibulo. Let UPND keep ruling us iwe father uli chauyo, get out.”
Soko continued.
“And you in the UPND are surprising me, why are you targeting the innocent people, chinyongeni immunity ichi chine chi mudala. Pokeni immunity, natumpa but ninshi ifwe tulechula. Lungu naba nani (Remove this man’s immunity, it’s what is making him pompous while we who supported him are suffering. Lungu who)?” said Soko. “Alungusha ifintu. Bamudala bafwilefye baya ku jele, bakomfwe efyo abantu bomfwa ku jele (Let him go to jail so that he knows how it feels like for one to be jailed). I was suffering in jail because of Lungu. Chitwaleni ku jele chauyo (Take him to jail he’s useless). What are you parliamentarians scared of? Alimusha mubunga uyu, alimisha mubuchushi (He has left you suffering).”
He said people were appearing before the ACC because “bupuba bwa ababene ba mudula.
