The opposition Patriotic Front (PF) has picked Brian Mundubile as leader of the opposition in parliament, with Stephen Kampyongo as PF whip, to be deputised by Joe Malanji
Well placed sources have told Daily Revelation that the central committee settled on the three following the central committee deliberations.
Mundubile served as government chief whip in the previous National Assembly, with Kampyongo and Malanji as Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs ministers respectively.
Sources said the party will be meeting to choose their candidate for Speaker of the National Assembly tomorrow.
Sources further said the reorganization process will start with the lower structures in order to prepare the party for the election of a president, after former president Edgar Lungu informed the party that he is not continuing as its leader.
Meanwhile, Kabushi member of parliament Bowman Lusambo is still out on holiday and has been missing out on the orientation of members of parliament currently going on at the National Assembly.
