Late president Michael Sata’s bodyguard during his time in opposition, Judge Ngoma, says Edgar Lungu must enjoy his retirement package peacefully as the memories of his mismanagement are still fresh in people’s minds.
Speaking with Daily Revelation, Ngoma, who also served in the security team of then opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema, urged president Lungu to rest peaceful as attempts to get back into active politics as PF president will awaken things that were already lying low against him.
“Ba Lungu bafunika bakazidya naya kugwa pansi because the incumbent doesn’t want to arrest Lungu, but I feel he will be pushing his luck too far by coming back into active politics,” said Ngoma. “Please go and enjoy your retirement package peacefully. I beg Mr Lungu to go and rest in peace because people’s minds are very fresh on how he mismanaged this country and why he was voted out. I Judge Ngoma I am pleading with you to stop pushing ba mudala to things which don’t have value.”
Ngoma urged Lungu to appreciate his role as the only surviving former head of state whom people should treat as such.
