Former Foreign and International Relations minister Stanley Kakubo says PF presidential aspirants Makebi Zulu and Brian Mundubile have no vision for Zambia.

Speaking at the handover ceremony for the 2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) empowerment loans in Kapiri Mposhi District, Kakubo who is also UPND Kapiri Mposhi constituency member of parliament  said neither Makebi or Mundubile had a vision for this country like President Hakainde Hichilema.

He said that the two PF aspiring presidential candidates were in government during the PF reign and they did nothing for the country.

“Ba Mundubile came to parliament at the same time as me, it means he is not senior than me. Makebi Zulu went to parliament at the same time as me and he left me there because he lost. These things we have discussed neither Makebi no Mundubile has a vision and I can prove it, they were in government and they did not have that vision” Kakubo explained.

Kakubo further disclosed that there were people in the country who where rubbishing everything the President has done.

He has since warned the Zambian people not to change the president in the 2026 general elections as this will be a mistake.

He further explained that changing the president will result in the country not having anymore free education, feeding programs for children in schools, CDF among other other empowerment and developmental projects.

“There are certain people who are rubbishing everything the President has done, there are people who are saying the president has done nothing. If we make a mistake of changing the President all these things am telling you. Free education will be gone, CDF loans of today will be the last and the program I have told you about TAZARA will be no more” he said.

Kakubo also announced plans for the construction of township roads and the mounting of street lights in Kapiri Mposhi district.

And speaking at the event, new Kapiri Mposhi constituency development fund CDF chairman Chris Mumba said his committee is trying to make sure that their roles and duties are executed in a transparent manner.

“We are trying to make sure that our role and duty is executed in a more transparent way and that development reaches the parts that is supposed to be reached” Mumba stated.

Three million seven hundred and seventeen thousand, two hundred and sixty seven fifty two Ngwee has been disbursed to 23 business entities beneficiaries from Kapiri Mposhi Constituency in central province.

Other people who spoke at the event were UPND constituency chairman Davis Ngwelela and Kapiri Mposhi town council secretary Calins Ndillema.
