Nkana FC has released 11 players ahead of the 2024/2025 season with four on that list to be sent out on loan.
According to a statement released by Nkana on Wednesday, midfielders Lameck Kafwaya and the much-traveled Eric Yema are among the seven whose contracts have not been renewed.
Others include defender Bob Chansa, and midfielders Laurent Muma and Motela Mulambya.
Shadreck Banda and Harry Kayula complete the permanent departures from Nkana.
The Nkana quartet going out on loan includes ex 2017 AFCON U20 winning defender Moses Nyondo who has struggled to hold down a place at his childhood club.
Defender Amon Chulu is the other prominent face going out on loan together with Cosmas Chilambwe and Martin Mweemba.
“We trust that the loaned-out players will make the most of their opportunities and return to Nkana with enhanced abilities and valuable match experience, ” the Nkana statement read.
Meanwhile, Nkana is currently midway through a 10-day pre-season training camp in Chipata.
