United Kwacha Alliance ( UKA) has urged all it’s members and supporters to remain fully mobilised for mass people’s actions at short notice.
According to the resolution of the Council of Presidents (CoP) convened yesterday, UKA announced that there will be a special Church Prayer Service on Sunday, May 19, 2024, to be held at Dunamis Christian Center at 10:00 hours.
The alliance stated that the service had been organized to pray over the challenges facing the Nation.
“All peace loving Zambians are encouraged to attend. All UKA Presidents will be present,” read the statement in part.
UKA has stated that Presidents remain committed to this peoples mass movement and shall protect, safeguard and defend it on behalf of the Zambian people.
The UKA Council of Presidents (CoP) also considered and approved the application for membership into UKA made by Patriots for Economic Progress and New Era Democratic Party and (NED) led by Sean Tembo and Phumulo Situmbeko respectively.
The two new members will be formally interoduced at the next UKA meeting.
