Cheongju, South Korea November 2, 2025 The Zion Christian Mission Center, operated by Shincheonji Church of Jesus, the Temple of the Tabernacle of the Testimony, celebrated its 116th graduation ceremony at the Shincheonji Cheongju Church, marking another milestone in its global Bible education mission.
Despite years of opposition and misunderstanding, the Mission Center produced 59,192 graduates this year, including 2,248 pastors a figure that reflects the growing participation of clergy members in Shincheonji’s systematic Bible education. Over the past four years alone, more than 13,500 pastors have completed the course.
The Zion Christian Mission Center offers a free, year-long, three-level program introductory, intermediate, and advanced covering the full scope of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation. Students are required to achieve a score of 90% or higher on a comprehensive final exam to graduate, ensuring both doctrinal understanding and practical application.
During the ceremony, Chairman Lee Man-hee, leader of Shincheonji Church of Jesus, emphasized the importance of genuine, Scripture-centered faith.
“There are far too many people who claim to believe in Jesus but do not follow the Bible completely,” Chairman Lee said. “Do not rely on church authority check for yourself through Scripture whether your faith is truly grounded in the Word.”
A highlight of the event was the graduation speech by former pastor Oh Sun-kyung, who shared her journey of transformation through Shincheonji’s Bible course.
“I planted three churches and read the Bible more than thirty times, yet I could not understand Revelation,” she said. “Now that the secrets of Revelation have been revealed, pastors must first master this promised Word and lead their congregations to heaven.”
The graduation, themed “Love and Blessing, Light to the World,” filled the Cheongju Church with around 20,000 graduates and guests, while tens of thousands more joined online from Shincheonji congregations across South Korea and abroad, creating a global atmosphere of celebration and gratitude.
This year’s event continues the momentum of historic growth: in 2023 and 2024, the Zion Christian Mission Center produced 108,084 and 111,628 graduates respectively demonstrating the expanding global interest in Shincheonji’s free Bible education program.
