The Teaching Service Commission (TSC) will advertise the recruitment of 30,000 teachers in the print and electronic media on April 5,6 and 7 2022, says Education minister Douglas Syakalima.
Syakalima has told parliament today that of the 30,000 teachers to be employed, 1500 will be senior secondary school teachers, 26,597 primary and junior secondary and 1903 early childhood education.
He said the applicants will have to apply to the district levels where they wish to be employed, and that the successful applicants will be announced on May 7-18, 2022 and placed on the payroll from June 15-30 June, 2022.
He said the applications will be received through Zampost, saying the government wanted to minimize interpersonal interactions to reduce corruption and nepotism.
