State House media head Clayson Hamasaka says there is nothing sinister over the fact that State House statements yesterday were signed by himself and not by Presidential spokesperson Anthony Bwalya.
Speaking with Daily Revelation, Hamasaka said Bwalya is currently touring the country, but in his absence statements have still to be stamped and signed to show authenticity.
“Anthony could have done all those statements yesterday himself but the problem we have had in the past, if something is not signed by signature and stamped, people question is it authentic? You get the point? So if my colleague is traveling, or if I am traveling chances, are that you might not be traveling with stamps and all those State House instruments,” said Hamasaka. “You get the point? Then someone else has to sign and stamp it to make it authentic. There is no change anywhere. My colleague is out of town. We had a choice yesterday to release the stamens completely unsigned or not stamped, what were you going to ask yourself? Nothing sinister, nothing has changed.”
