Even if people have realised UPND is not the best they can have, bringing back Lungu is the worst decision, says Fabian Mutale.
Mutale, who was a long time private-secretary to Chishimba Kambwili, said having Edgar Lungu back is synonymous with asking someone to die from a gunshot rather than from poison, as dying from a gunshot is more excruciating than dying from poison.
“All the political stunts he’s been doing, it’s all about him. He wants to come back to start saying that ‘people want me back’. The jogging, the going to Church, it’s to keep his name in the limelight. It’s about himself,” Mutale said. “It’s like within PF, no one has financial muscle to run the party. So they are looking for someone with the financial muscle to continue funding them. It’s about who has money and not who is a leader “
