The Energy Regulation Board (ERB) has reduced the prices of diesel, kerosene, Jet A-1 while maintaining the price of petrol at K27.15.
The price of diesel has been adjusted from K33.99 to K32.11 representing a reduction of K1.88, kerosene from K35.05 to K33.91 representing K1.14 and Jet A-1 from K37.98 to K36.68 representing K1.30.
ERB board chairperson James Banda said during the period under review international prices showed mixed trends influenced by the geopolitical situation in the Middle East. He said while petrol continued to rise in pricing, diesel and kerosene declined.
He said in the same period, the Kwacha strengthened slightly against the United States Dollar from K18.97 to K18.56
