PF presidential aspirant Chishimba Kambwili says President Hakainde Hichilema and those in the UPND will be lucky if it will be him to take over as Republican president, warning that they will face severe retribution if another person takes over.
Speaking with Daily Revelation from Kasama where he has gone to attend to his court case, Kambwili said he was saddened that he could be made to incur huge costs on fuel, accommodation, car servicing and other life necessities just because someone thought it convenient to punish him by having the matter prosecuted in Kasama.
He said politics should not be used as a tool to be used to fix others, but a tool to advance the country forward.
“The way they are treating others others will treat them like that also. They will be lucky if it’s me coming in. But should there be any other person other than me, they will face the consequences,” said Kambwili, adding that the country must learn to progress and handle matters differently, which he said was the hope of many the millions of Zambians who vote to change governments.
Kambwili claimed that he would not treat President Hichilema or anybody else in the UPND in the same manner they were treating him, saying he was tired of “being persecution.”
