MALEMA DEMANDS RETURN OF ‘STOLEN’ DIAMONDS FROM KING CHARLES

By Merlyn Mwanza

South Africa’s Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has asked British King Charles to return the diamond which his royal family “stole” from Africa, something he said his late mother Queen Elizabeth used to wear on her head.

“And those who commit crime even in their dead we must never celebrate them. We must remind them that they have stolen that which belongs to us,” Malema said.

He said there was no way anyone could say that they did not want colonialism and borders and say of the late Queen of Britain M.H.S.R.I.P in the same sentence.

He said the position taken by the EFF on Queen Elizabeth reawakened the whole world about the crimes her royal family committed in the world, and that those who commit crimes even in their dead must not be celebrated but be reminded that they have stolen that which belongs to other people.

Malema said people must do the right things when they are alive, saying South Africa remained a conquered nation from the colonizers led by Britain and the Queen’s family.

“We do not celebrate a person who died wearing our stolen diamonds on her head because that will be tantamount to celebrating criminals who die in position of stolen goods. So they must know we are not with them and we are not going to shed any crocodile tears. We are not going to be pretentious,” said Malema. “And if (South African President) Cyril (Ramaphosa) has given them condolences he has done that condolences on behalf of himself and his nose, not the people of South Africa.”
