MORE CHIEFS CASH IN ON PF MOTOR VEHICLE BONANZA

By Staff Reporter

Traditional leaders have continued enjoying the brown envelopes and motor vehicle bonanza from the ruling PF, with Ngoni chiefs Saili and Chinyaku being the latest recipients of the Toyota Hiluxes.

But PF sources have told Daily Revelation about the discrimination in the giving of the vehicles as only the chiefs who have been sympathetic with the ruling party are the ones mostly receiving the vehicles, as opposed to those who are not seen to be too supportive.

Well placed sources have told Daily Revelation that the chiefs have been heavily engaged by the ruling party and are mostly acting as campaign managers in their own rights.

“Chief Saili and Chinyaku came to pick their Toyota Hiluxes two weeks ago. But others like senior chief Nzamane and Maguya have not been given anything because they are being suspected not to be too sympathetic with the ruling party. They are suspected UPND sympathisers,” sources said.

Contacted for comment that he had been overlooked on the distribution of the vehicles, chief Nzamane responded: “How do you know that I have not received?”

Asked if he had been denied on account of not being too sympathetic with the ruling party, Nzamane said he did not want to say anything for the time being.

“I think I am tongue tied at the moment. I am tongue tied, bear with me. I don’t think I want to say anything at the moment,” said chief Nzamane.
