Any genuine person can never be persuaded to think of bringing back the scandal ridden PF into leadership of our country, says Major Ben Phiri.
In a statement availed to the Daily Revelation, Major Phiri, who is former Luapula Province permanent secretary, emphasised that it is practically impossible for the Patriotic Front to retain power owing to its disastrous performance record.
“It’s shocking that [PF vice president Given] Lubinda keeps on messaging the obvious flawed hallucinational thought that the Paya Farmer will bounce back in 2026! What a joke?! Patriotic Front’s disastrous performance record, under the former President Mr Edgar Lungu, can never persuade any genuine person to think of bringing back the scandal ridden group [of PF] into the leadership of our country,” Maj Phiri stated. “That’s is practically impossible and can never happen. With the likes of Lubinda at the helm of the defeated Pillagers Front, the party has just conclusively authored its political obituary with the glaring epitaph of ‘Rest in Eternal Pieces,’ the economically ruthless Pillagers Front. PF is gone, gone and gone ad infinitum [gone in in infinity or eternally] with zero prospect of regaining power. In any case, regaining power to continue with incessant plunder of our country’s resources while the majority citizens wallowed in unprecedented levels of poverty and misery? No, no. Never!”
Maj Phiri further advised that it will not be easy for the UPND leadership to rebuild the country’s economy that was so much damaged by the Patriotic Front because “stealing was more of their ritual than an exception.”
“It can be suggested that, and highly so, that the Pillagers Front [Patriotic Front] with thieving traits embedded in their DNA swiftly swung into the pillaging mode once given an opportunity to govern as it happened from 2015 until decisive August 12th elections that ejected them from the pinnacle of power pyramid. Lubinda needs to get it clearly in his head that rebuilding the country by the UPND government after so much damage by the PF is not going to be easy as they found stealing the latter of which as more of a ritual in the PF than an exception,” stated Maj Phiri further. “The cereals and vegetables growing certificate holder will do well to subject himself to a rigorous and serious introspection before flaunting his unpaired reasoning on the current HH [Hakainde Hichilema] led government’s operations. Lubinda should have, instead; said: ‘President Hichilema is not ready to STEAL’ and not what he is quoted to have told his Paya Farmer supporters in Masaiti district.”
