Despite not winning any game in the past one month, Power Dynamos assistant coach Linos Makwaza believes the defending champions will still win the league, because the league is still a long way to go.
Speaking in an interview with Daily Revelation Newspaper Makwaza expressed confidence Power will defend their league title.
” This season we will still defend. We can be on number seven, number eight but we are defending champions. And this is a marathon, it a long way to go. What is important is going back to our winning ways,” he said.
Makwaza also expressed worry with the team’s striking force, saying in the next transfer window, the team will reinforce especially the striking force.
“Obviously we will reinforce especially the striking force, that is were we’ve got challenges,” said Makwaza.
Power Dynamos are currently going through a bad patch, they have not won a single match in the past one month, with reports suggesting that head coach Mwenya Chipepo has resigned.
