Chishimba Kambwili says he is not part of any PF cartel, telling one of his supporters to stop creating a narrative that he is in support of the decision by Miles Sampa to take the party to court.
Assertions of various cartels having formed in the PF are rife, including some asserting that there is one comprising of the “true greens” involving Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba, Kambwili and Sampa, with another one involving maintaining the status quo with former president Edgar Lungu said to be its leader, with yet another one allegedly being spearheaded by “MMD members.”
But in a voice note, Kambwili told one of his supporters going by the name, Ground, who has been reinforcing the pro “true green” message, to stop doing that.
“What you are saying that the only true greens are Kambwili, GBM and Miles, please stop mentioning me. Your disrespect for leaders is too much my young man. I told you to stop what you are doing where you are allowing your name to be used on other people’s writings, but it seems you don’t want to listen,” said Kambwili.“I am not in any cartel. Me I am ready to work with everyday. I am not working with any particular person, and you are creating a narrative as if me I support Miles’ decision to take the party to court … I am not a person who brings confusion in the party. The party is bigger than all of us and we must respect the party and its leaders.”
