State House Chief Communication specialist Clayson Hamasaka says the country which is on auto pilot cannot manage to do what has been achieved under President Hakainde Hichilema’s administration.
Speaking during the Red Hot breakfast programme on Hot Fm on Wednesday, Mundubile said there was a need to restore the country because nothing was going happening.
“You can see the extent to which the country has gone. Everything is going wrong. We seem to be on auto pilot. There is nobody who is in charge. So we are saying that we are going to reset the country. And there is a need for restoration,” Mundubile said. “We simply want Zambia to work again. We want Zambia as a country to work again. l know that Chisha and Pizi you have been around long enough to know that … you may not say it loudly, there is nothing going on in the country.”
In an interview on Saturday, Hamasaka said public debt had been restructured, the country was recording bumper harvest, and Constituency Development Fund (CDF) had been scaled up. He stressed that this could not happen if the country was on auto pilot.
“Even yourself, are you feeling that the country is on auto pilot, there is a vacuum? He is the same one who was listening to him on Hot FM saying for now ‘there is peace, there is no violence, no we appreciate it.’ So are you sure debt restructuring was done by being on auto pilot?” Hamasaka asked. “Bumper harvest done, electricity done. Is that auto pilot? NAPSA partial withdrawal and those things that have been done, CDF, free education for the children, is that a country which has an auto pilot?”
