President Hakainde Hichilema has directed his officials to list the names of all the people who qualify as beneficiaries for the social cash transfer, including their own relations.
Addressing a rally in Lunte, where ex-Science and Technology minister told him that he was the first sitting President to have visited the area, President said all the people who qualified for the social cash transfer must be listed so that he could include them as beneficiaries.
“Nomba ba Chasaya umfweni. Niulule? Niulule? (Now Chasaya listen. Should I disclose? Should I disclose?). All those ba Chasaya and our leaders who are not on social cash transfer but they qualify, Bally does not segregate, we want all their names,” President Hichilema directed. “It doesn’t matter whether balupwa (family members) or not, we want to look after them and when you give me the list nalabafyantamo muli (I will include them on the) social cash transfer.”
He said how people voted would determine their future.
He said the question and decision was theirs whether to go back to paying school fees
“You want to go back to these PF boys calling themselves Tonse,” President Hichilema said.
He said he would employ all the volunteer nurses and teachers.
President Hichilema said God worked through people and was working through him to give out the jobs.
