LUNGU’S ATTEMPT TO ‘FLEE’ PF BLOGS FAILS AFTER HE’S RE-ADDED BY CRITICS … Twatile tabafume, mpaka ulubuli lukapwe

Former president Edgar Lungu’s attempts to ‘flee’ PF blogs has failed, after his critics who happen to be administrators of the several blogs forced his number back onto the platforms.

Confirming the development to Daily Revelation, PF Kanyama ward chairman Kelvin Mwaba, popularly known as Papa Gunasi said he and his colleagues forced president Lungu back onto the blogs after he left several of them yesterday.

There has been serious infighting, characterized by mudslinging, character assassinations and insults in several PF blogs, and Lungu himself has not been spared the vitriol particularly by Chishimba Kambwili’s supporters who accuse him of having formed “a cartel” with Given Lubinda, Professor Nkandu Luo, Brian Mundubile, Stephen Kampyongo, Jean Kapata, Sylvia Chalikosa and the others against their preferred person. Kambwili too has not been spared the insults, with the manner he walks particularly becoming one of the main talking points by his opponents.

Papa Gunasi explained why he and his colleagues forced Lungu onto the blogs, saying even if he changed his number, they will go to Facebook and explore others means of having their message reach him.

“Elo nechotwabwesheshe ba former head of state ba Edgar Lungu muma blogs, twatile ngabafyashi pantu kulya kumyabo ku ng’anda tabatuchita allow ukuya mukubalondolwela ifilechitika pa ground. So that’s why twababikile muma blog ukuti baleyumfwila, pali nachina umo, aya ama blogs twakwata ni 10 Province, all structures abalanda muma blog ayotwakwata. Tepapa Gunasi ulanda eka awee (We restored Lungu to the blogs because we are not allowed to go to his house to tell him what is happening on the ground. That’s why we forced him back to the blogs as it includes all the 10 provinces over what people are saying. It is not only Papa Gunase speaking),” Mwaba said. “There are many who are talking, starting from Luapula, Muchinga, Northern, Copperbelt, Central, Southern monse 10 provinces).”

Mwaba continued.

“Balisafumamo mailo, elo tatwaishibe ati emo baba namuma blog umu. So twadabwilefye mailo ati ECL left, ECL left. So twatile tabafume, ngomufyashi tafume, mpaka ulubuli lukapwe muchilonganino ichi, akashe efyo ichipani chilefwaya. (He left the blogs yesterday, and we did not even know that he was part of these blogs. We just saw ECL left, ECL left. But we said he won’t leave as a parent until this fight in the party comes to an end, and he leaves the party in the manner that will be acceptable to the people’s wishes),” Mwaba said. “Because Mundubile will go and lie to him, Given Lubinda will go and lie to him, Ba Nkandu Luo balaya bababepe (they will go and lie to him) saying of this is the one they want. He has to listen to us, the followers, the supporters babo abachishinka, who can give him full information (He has to listen to We the true supporters).”

Asked if their efforts would be rendered fruitless if the former president changed his mobile numbers, Mwaba said they will find a way of getting their message across to him.

“Ngabachinja number tukalaya pa Facebook. Eh kaili pa Facebook tabakachinje bakalamonekela. Eh pantu umusungu alichenjela, alituletele ifintu ifyapusana pusana. So Facebook yena, kanofye bakabutuke pa Facebook, bakesale Facebook. So if he changes the number we shall be posting on Facebook ama video everyday. Tabakalaikalafye ukukanaya pa Facebook, bakalafwaya ati first mboneko ifili pa Facebook (If he changes the number we will go to Facebook, since he will still be found on Facebook. A white man was clever enough, he brought us a lot of different things. Unless he also flees from Facebook, he closes himself to Facebook. So if he changes the number we shall be posting videos on Facebook everyday. He won’t just sit without visiting Facebook. He will want to see what is on Facebook),” said Mwaba.

Mwaba said party members wanted their leadership in the central committee to listen to what the people were saying, saying most organisations have lost power and failed to reclaim office on account of leaders failing to listen to the grassroots.

He accused the same leaders of costing the party the election after they picked candidates that were not popular on account of failing to listen to the grassroots.

Mwaba said the youths and women have risen to support Kambwili, warning that attempts by their leaders to subvert their will would destroy the party.

He said that was why they had forced Lungu into the blogs so that he could hear for himself what the people wanted.
