The ACC has changed those asserting that the commission is only focussing on corruption committed in the previous regime to mention the current.corruption happening in the new administration which ACC has not acted upon.
ACC chief corporate officer Timothy Moono argued that the corruption fight is not targeted at the corruption which happened in the previous regime
Moono in a statement to Daily Revelation stated that the commission had noted repeated sentiments that it has focused its fight on past corruption and not pursing current corruption.
He further stated that those pursuing that agenda and position had not indicated which act of corruption was being committed in the current administration, which they reported and was not being investigated or acted upon.
Moono stated that the commission will not be deterred in the corruption fight whether it happened in the past or current administration.
He also encouraged members of the public to continue reporting acts
of corruption because the commission does not look at the political affiliation of an individual when pursing corruption.
