You could not get a job just because you came from Mitete – HH … urges ladies to campaign for him even when bathing, cooking

President Hakainde Hichilema has urged ladies to campaign hard for him in their homes, even when bathing and cooking.

And President Hichilema said the previous PF administration never wanted to give people jobs owing to their UPND membership, worse still if they were from Mitete in Western Province.

Addressing a rally in Mitete today, President Hichilema urged rally goers to remember the Zambia before the UPND came into office.

He said people suffered a lot as there was no freedom but they were now moving freely under the UPND.

President Hichilema said the previous administration never wanted to give people jobs just for the fact that they were UPND members and “worse still if you came from Mitete here.”

But he said his government was giving people jobs as nurses and teachers “without segregation.”

He said the country was going through a lot of problems before he came into office as the economy was going down, but was now working had to deliver a lot of things.

He said children were now going to school owing to free education.

President Hichilema urged the people to vote for the UPND ticket at all levels.

“No opposition must win a seat here,” he said.

He said he was appointing rally goers as his campaign managers in the election.

He particularly urged women, whom he said were his wives, to campaign harder for him in their homes.

“Women, all these ladies here, you are all Hakainde’s wives … So when you are bathing or you are cooking you campaign for UPND and Hakainde,” he said.

President Hichilema said as for the men, they should campaign for UPND when paddling along the Zambezi River.

He urged his supporters to vote in large numbers and protect their votes.
