THESE TRIBAL APPOINTMENTS WILL COST HH IN 2026, WARNS GBM

Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba has challenged the UPND administration to dispute the list that has gone viral showing extreme tribal inclination in diplomatic appointments.

Speaking with Daily Revelation on the list of diplomatic appointments for orientation in group 1, which list is showing a domination of names of one region, Mwamba said the government must not remain silent on the matter and challenged them to provide a list of all those that have been appointed into the diplomatic service for Zambians to judge for themselves.

He said Zambians voted for change by removing the PF from office because President Hichilema promised to do a lot of things including uniting the nation, but that he had exposed “his hypocrisy for all to see in his appointments.”

“What I can say is I am challenging the government to dispute if those people on the list have not been appointed into the diplomatic positions. As a country we think the UPND is operating tribally. They have been preaching that they want to unite this country. Will unity be based on appointing people from one, two three regions? If people scrutinize they will realise that UPND has not come to unite but divide the country,” Mwamba said. “They were criticizing the PF that they were only appointing people from Luapula, Northern, Muchinga and Eastern Province, but if you look at the appointments of the UPND they have confirmed that they are not uniting but dividing the country. All the appointments in the defence wings have come from three regions. The key ministries are from three regions. Today if a Northerner or an Easterner is removed they are replaced by our brothers from Southern, Western, North Western and parts of Central Province.”

Mwamba challenged President Hichilema to stop dividing the country and live by what he promised Zambians.

“He should not be a hypocrite but operate in the manner he promised Zambians. He should not think Zambians are not watching. These appointments may not cost him now but Zambians are seeing through them and come 2026 he will be defeated,” said Mwamba.

Who is GBM really? A total Tribalist that abducted HH7 relatives at elections to turn them against HH. GBM is proven tribalist that wanted HH to be barred from standing for presidency so this is all sour grapes. GBM is a corrupt PF thief that stole public funds through Defence Contracts that he is still going to court for. The Fat man is trying to divert attention from his corruption cases but that won’t work! All provinces are represented in Govt today but 4 provinces were not represented in PF Govt so this FAT man shouldn’t mislead the public

I don’t understand why anyone would be complaining of the rebalancing policy in the civil service. The PF government was explicitly tribal – they purged other tribes from the civil service and filled all positions with people from Northern , Luapula and Eastern! People where identified as coming from Southern, North West and Western were discriminated upon: fired in national interest (whatever that means!) and denied job opportunities across the board – in the civil service and in the private sector led by someone aligned with the PF tribes.

Instead of being condemned, the UPND deserve to be praised for rebalancing the civil service so much so that all the provinces have representation. It is interesting that Mwanba of all people would have the audacity to accuse the New Dawn government of being tribal given what the PF government did to this country during the tenure! Given the tribal campaign he ( Mwanba) oversaw during the last general election: where the PF sponsored Kambwili to fly around in the afore mentioned PF aligned provinces promoting tribal politics. But alas, Zambians stood together and said NO: we are one people and one nation. A factor that still keeps Mwanba awake at night…..

The country is marching forward in unison. Zambia is our tribe.
