Zambia needs an indaba to solve the economic problems the country is going through currently,  United Federation of Employers president Humphrey Monde has said.

Speaking in interview with Daily Revelation Newspaper, Monde suggested for

the indaba to find solutions to the countries current problems.

“This economic issue l think is globally (global) matter. lt has effect on every population or nation. So it is something we need to work on. What I suggest is… when we get such effect, probably a national indaba can help,”  he said.

He further urged all well meaning Zambians to forget about politics and sit down together to find solutions to the countries problems.

“This is one issue to do, aligned to politics or what. This matter should be tabled with all key players, we remove the partisan aspect and look at how best we can resolve issues,” he said.

Monde said the economic problem Zambia is facing is happening world wide, urging Zambia’s to travel around the world and see that things are bad everywhere.

“This is a global trend, it is not just in Zambia. When you travel, you have not gone to see what is happening in other countries, you would think your country is the one which is more disadvantaged,” said Monde.
